Deň vo vesmíre bol vedecko-popularizačným podujatím a projektom, ktorého vrcholom bolo historicky prvé vzdelávacie rádiové spojenie medzi vzdelávacou inštitúciou a posádkou ISS na Slovensku. Toto podujatie bolo realizované 25. januára 2025 v priestoroch Prešovskej univerzity v Prešove. V Marci 2024 organizátori podali prihlášku pre realizáciu kontaktu, v Júni sa dostali na čakaciu listinu pre udelenie termínu kontaktu a v októbri dostali pridelený týždeň, neskôr konkrétny termín kontaktu. Kontakt sa uskutočnil v rámci vedecko-popularizačného podujatia Deň vo vesmíre, ktoré sa konalo 25.01.2025 v priestoroch Prešovskej univerzity v Prešove.
Space Day was a science and popularization event and project, the highlight of which was the first ever educational radio connection between an educational institution and the ISS crew in Slovakia. This event was held on January 25, 2025 at the premises of the University of Prešov in Prešov. In March 2024, the organizers submitted an application for the contact, in June they were put on the waiting list for a contact date, and in October they were assigned a week, and later a specific contact date. The contact took place as part of the science and popularization event Space Day, which took place on January 25, 2025 at the premises of the University of Prešov in Prešov. On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Štefánik mission (Ivan Bella's flight into space as the first Slovak cosmonaut), as well as the successful application for contact with the ISS crew, the OM25ISS anniversary mark was issued. The annual mark was in the HF, VHF and UKV bands from October 1, 2024. The station was operated by club and individual stations from all over Slovakia.
